Fortnite unites pros, streamers, and fans in epic competition frenzy

Epic Games' return to the Pro-Am format for Fortnite in 2025 was a major win for both fans and the developer. Hosted at the Galen Center in Los Angeles, the FNCS 2025 Pro-Am featured 20 duos made up of pro players and top streamers, competing for a $500,000 prize pool in the fast-paced Reload Duos format.

The event reached a peak of 660,713 concurrent viewers, marking the highest attendance for any Fortnite tournament this year and ranking as the fourth largest in FNCS history. With nearly 2.4 million hours watched in under five hours, it also ranked fifth overall in total watch time among 2025 Fortnite events, despite being significantly shorter than most.

Peterbot, the FNCS 2024 Global Champ and proud member of Team Falcons, teamed up with AussieAntics to secure the crown. Round two was fire, with Clix and Lacy taking the win and sending viewership through the roof — the biggest spike in the event’s history.

Epic kept the hype strong by dropping exclusive Twitch Drops, hooking players up with rare in-game cosmetics. And they went next level by streaming the event live in select AMC theaters, where fans scored redeemable codes for the ultra-cool Axe of Champions 2.0 Pickaxe.

The FNCS 2025 Pro-Am showed once again that blending fierce competition with top-tier entertainment is exactly what Fortnite’s massive fanbase craves.
